Return & Refund Policy

For orders placed between November 29, 2024, through December 25, 2024, please enjoy our extended holiday returns until January 31, 2025. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed during this time of year. Our regular 30-day return policy will apply to any orders made on and/or after Thursday, December 26, 2024.  

At YMI Jeans, we strive to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Please review our return and refund policy carefully. Please note that our returns window is set to 30 days. To increase safety standards, received returns will be quarantined at our shipping facility for 3 days before they are processed. Please allow at least 6 business days for your return to be processed by our team. Refunds will appear back to the original payment within 7 business days depending on your bank's clearance times. 

Eligibility for Returns

  • Final Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. These items are sold at a significantly reduced price and are non-returnable.

  • Items Sold Under $10: Products purchased at or below $10 are not eligible for return or exchange. Please ensure your purchase is final.

  • Marketplace and Social Shop Purchases: Items purchased outside of the official YMI Jeans website (e.g., third-party marketplaces, social media shops) are not eligible for return or exchange through our online store. Please refer to the return policy of the original purchase platform or find more information here

Conditions for Returns

Your return must be received by us within 30 days of purchase. The returned item(s) must be unworn, in new condition, and have its original tags attached. Outbound shipping fees from the original order are not refundable.

If you are returning $250 or more worth of merchandise, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund in addition to the charge for the shipping label.

*Please note: all swimwear, accessories and YMI Girls products are Final Sale and non-returnable.

Return shipping process: If you purchased a "Pre-paid return shipping" coverage at checkout, you will receive a return label in the portal. If you did not purchase return coverage, you may be asked to pay for a label upon requesting a return.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our facility please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your return request. Once return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at customercare@ymijeans.com.

If you selected store credit as your payment method of return, you will receive an email with your store credit information.

Damages and Issues

IN THE EVENT THAT ITEM(S) DELIVERED FROM AN ONLINE ORDER WERE RECEIVED DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT, YOU MUST CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND TO YOUR ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD OR TO RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT ITEM. 

Unacceptable Conditions for Returns: We encourage you to try on items as you would in a store, but please avoid wearing them. Unfortunately, if returned items are damaged, worn, or in unsuitable condition, we cannot issue a refund. In such instances, we may need to return the items to you at your expense. Rest assured, all returned items undergo thorough inspection.

  • Returned items with visible signs of use, including makeup, hair, fibers, dander, dust, dirt, deodorant, or perfume, will not be accepted.

NO REFUNDS / STORE CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY "FINAL SALE ITEM" RECEIVED, AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH A RE-SHIPPING FEE. IN THE EVENT WE DO NOT RECEIVE A RETURN LABEL, WE WILL DISPOSE THE ITEM RECEIVED WITHIN 7 DAYS. 

Policy Enforcement Notice: If we notice concerning patterns in your return behavior, such as indications of wearing items before returning (wardrobing), purchasing and returning excessive quantities, or returning missing or non YMI items, we may deactivate your account and any associated accounts. If you believe there has been an error, please contact our Customer Experience team for assistance.
