YMI Halloween Guide

It

It’s October-which means Halloween is basically here! Halloween is supposed to be fun and is a time for you to let loose and dress up, but we understand that sometimes putting a costume together can be stressful (and expensive). Don’t worry though…we’re here to help get you into the spooky spirit! We’ve created a little YMI Halloween Guide with fun and creative costumes you can put together using YMI pieces. The best part? You can rock these pieces after Halloween too!

Velma from Scooby doo

"Jinkies! My glasses. I can't see without my glasses!"

Hello Mystery Babe! Dress up as the iconic Velma from Scooby Doo this Halloween with our A-Line Corduroy Mini Skirt in Ribbon Red! Who knew you could look so cute while solving mysteries?! For a sexy twist, pair our skirt with an orange crop top, orange high socks, and red platform Mary Janes! Finish the look with some chic glasses and a bob wig!

Kim from Kim Possible

"Call me, beep me, if ya wanna reach me!"

Kim Possible is a total baddie…who wouldn’t want to dress up as her?! Start off with our High Rise Ankle Cargo Jogger in Olive, then add a black long-sleeve turtleneck and some black combat boots for an easy, low-effort look. To take things up a notch, add a brown tool belt and some black gloves. Now you’re ready to save the world!

Rosie the riveter

"We can do it!"

The OG Boss Babe! Get the look of an icon in just a few quick and easy steps! First, grab our  Secret’s Button-Up Jumpsuit. Next, grab black combat boots from your closet and pick up red fabric with white polka dots to wrap your hair in. And taadaa!! You did it! If you want to go the extra mile, you can order a “Rosie” name tag patch off Amazon to add to your jumpsuit!

Debbie Thornberry

"I'll be in my room...forever!"

Debbie Thornberry invented sass. She’s the “too cool for school” older sis who completely embodies 90’s grunge. Start out with our Dream 1 Button Wide Leg Jean with Raw Edge. Pick up an orange crop top and throw over our Long Sleeve Plaid Oversized Shacket in Black Teal Plaid. Next, throw on some sneakers or combat boots. Use a ½ inch curling wand to create ringlet curls in your hair, and don’t forget the exaggerated side part to completely cover one eye. To really bring the look together, use a deep purple lipstick on your lips.

Sandy from Grease

"Tell me about it, stud"

She’s electrifying! Sandy from Grease is so effortlessly stunning and her finale look is so easy to achieve! Start out with our Basic 1 Button High Rise Skinny Jean Made with Recycled Fibers for a flattering and sleek look! Find a black crop top to pair with them, preferably one that is off the shoulders. Layer on a black leather jacket and complete the look with red pumps and a red lip! Make sure your hair is curled for this look. We recommend using some old-school hair curlers for an authentic look.
